Karina Arrived Safely

Corazon de Dahlia’s International Volunteer, Karina, arrived in Cusco yesterday for four months of service work and adventure. Karina is a graduate of Tufts University, who will be working directly with the children at our center and with our Peruvian staff members throughout her stay.

Karina reported that the bus ride from Lima to Cusco was an incredibly long journey, and she will certainly opt to fly on the return trip. She said that her host family has been really nice, and they are already showing her around. Check back for more information about Karina’s experiences.
